Today we are reviewing A little History of Economics by Niall Kishtainy which is a non-fiction book about the history of economics. It was published in 2017 by Yale University Press. I have read the Greek translation published by Patakis Publiscations and translated by George- Menelaos Asteriou.
It is a very well-written and informative non-fiction book. The author through short chapters recounts the contributions of key thinkers like Adam Smith, Karl Marx, John Maynard Keynes and many more. He also examines topics such as the invention of money and the Great Depression.
In a sentence, this book summarizes the development of economic thinking until the present day.
It is written in a way that even younger readers can understand it.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about economics and its history.
