Emmie Hamilton is forever inspired by the "in-between" moments. You know the ones - the empty spaces between the chaos of life. The conversations that are never said, the days filled with waiting, the silence after the emotion calms down; those are what Emmie's stories are built off of.

About the author:

My love for art.
I’ve always had a passion for the arts. Whether it’s creating sculptures with my hands, or working with colors on a canvas. The arts have always been a big part of my life, and everyday I search for a kind of creative medium. The day I decided to create art with the keys on a computer, was the day I finally found what the itch that needed to be scratched was.

What inspires my writing?
I’ve always found myself drawn to the dark novels that pushes the boundaries of what might be acceptable, and what might be thrown across the room. I’m always astounded by books that have discovered how to stand on that thin line. I love to read and write because it immerses you into a whole new world and through someone else’s eyes. Her latest project is The Waystations Trilogy, an epic space opera filled with exploration, war and ancient alien mysteries.
When she’s not writing, she enjoys playing story-driven RPGs, watching and reading all things science fiction and fantasy, and getting outdoors with the dog for a good walk!
