August 2019 wrap up

August was another month in which I had to balance reading and baby stuff. It was a little bit difficult but I think that I managed it all right.

I read in total six books and only one was a physical book. 

Let's see them together.

The Dark Vault : Unlock the Archive (The Archived #1-2.5) - Victoria Schwab

This is a bind up of The Archived and The Unbound which are earlier works by Victoria. As with all the books of her that I have read so far, I loved this one too, especially the second book which I found more engaging.

The Reading Life : The joy of seeing new worlds through other's eyes - C.S. Lewis

This book is a collection of some of C. S. Lewis' essays and letters all focusing around the theme of books and reading life in general. It was interesting to read but not something that I would reach for again.

Saga vol. 7 - 8 - 9 by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples

As is the case with the previous issues, I really likes these too. I like how the story progresses and we learn more about the characters in it.
Can't wait for the series to resume again.

Spin the Dawn (The Blood of stars #1) - Elizabeth Lim

When I read the synopsis of this book I wasn't so interested in it, but when I started reading it I was pleasantly surprised.
I love everything abut it and I can't wait for the next one.
