Today I am really excited to share with you my review for Beneath Black Sails by Clare Sager.

Beneath Black Sails is the first book in the series and it is an upper YA pirate adventure and it was published in Spring of 2020. There is also a prequel called Across Dark Seas and the second book in the series Against Dark Tides is already out.
The third book in the series Under Black Skies will be released on May 31st 2021 and I am really excited!!

MY REVIEW
I really enjoyed reading Beneath Black Sails, it was a great reading experience. It is a pirate fantasy book so it is full of adventure and it is also fast paced and a page turner. The romance in it is perfect, It has the enemies to lovers trope that is my favourite.
I also found the characters really interesting and well written. I loved Vice who is a sassy pirate and she is at the same time strong and sensitive. I also liked the banter between her and Knigh.
All in all I highly recommend this book and especially if you like pirate adventures. I personally will definitely continue with the series.
