Σήμερα θα μιλήσουμε για ένα non-fiction βιβλίο το οποίο μου πήρε αρκετό καιρό να το διαβάσω. Όχι βέβαια από έλλειψη ενδιαφέροντος αλλά λόγω μεγέθους. Πρόκειται για το βιβλίο The Templars: The Rise and Fall of God's Holy Warriors από τον ιστορικό Dan Jones.
Το βιβλίο είναι αυτό ακριβώς που λέει και ο τίτλος του. Μιλάει για τους Templar knights από τη δημιουργία τους το 12ο αιώνα μέχρι και τον αφανισμό τους το 14ο αιώνα.
Είναι καλογραμμένο βιβλίο και διαβάζεται σαν ένα μυθιστόρημα με αρχή, μέση και τέλος και όχι σαν ένα βιβλίο ιστορίας.
Σου δίνει πάρα πολλές πληροφορίες και αρκετές φορές νομίζω πως χάθηκα με τόσα ονόματα και ημερομηνίες.
Το σίγουρο είναι ότι μαθαίνεις πολλά πράγματα για τους Templars, ορισμένα από τα οποία ουτε καν φανταζόσουν.
