The holidays are around the corner, so it is time to think about the gifts that we are going to give to our friends and family.
I have gathered some bookish gift recommendations for the readers in your life.
Let's start ...
1. Merch from their favourite fandoms or general bookish merch
For this one you can choose from art prints , bookmarks, enamel pins, mugs, t-shirts and so much more. You only have to know their favourite fandom, which I believe will not be difficult.
2. Cozy blankets to snuggle up with
You can never go wrong with a cozy blanket.
3. A book from their wish list
All readers have an ongoing wish list. You can choose a book from there and you will be certain that they want to read it and that they haven't already read it.
4. Gift cards to their favourite bookstores etc
Give them the option to choose their gift
5. Book sleeves to keep books safe
There are so many cute designs for book sleeves, from fandom specific to holiday themed etc.
6. A reading journal to track their reading progress
Who doesn't love a reading journal?
7. A bookish subscription box
There are so many options for subscription boxes. From YA and adult books to indie authors and genre specific boxes. There is a box for everyone.
8. A kindle/electronic reading device
That is a great idea if you want to spend more money on a gift
9. A special edition of a favourite book
This is one of my favourites. There are many companies that do special editions of books and you can definitely find someone on Etsy (or elsewhere) that can customize a book for you if you cannot find a special edition for it.
10. A paid trip to the bookstore
Another favourite. You can set rules for it, such as the amount of money or the amount of time to spend in the bookstore and then let them go wild...
