Recommending Fantasy Books based in Classic Mythology


Mythology was always one of my favourite subjects. I really like reading about the myths of different cultures and learning from them. Since I am Greek it is natural that I know more about Greek Mythology than any other. However, I want to change that and read more books based in classic mythology from around the world. 

This is where this list of recommendations comes. It is here to help me and everyone who wants to, to read more books based in mythology from around the world.

Ariadne by Jennifer Saint

It is inspired by Greek Mythology and especially the ancient myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. 
Ariadne gives a voice to the forgotten women of one of the most famous Greek myths, and speaks to their strength in the face of angry, petulant Gods.

These are my recommendations regarding books based in Classic Mythology. I know that the list is incomplete, since it has more Greek mythology inspired books than I wanted but I am always open to your own suggestions.
